🌌 Why Purpose Can Get Cloudy

Even the most passionate leaders can lose sight of why they do what they do. Purpose isn’t something you find once and keep forever — it evolves, fades, and reignites, especially through tough seasons or transition.

This session is your invitation to pause and check in with your deeper "why."

When your purpose is clear, decisions become easier, focus sharpens, and motivation becomes sustainable, not just driven by deadlines.

❓ Prompts to Reconnect With Meaning

Grab your journal or open a fresh note. Reflect on one or more of the following:

  • What part of my work gives me a deep sense of satisfaction?
  • When have I felt most aligned with my values as a leader?
  • What’s one small act I did recently that reminded me, “This is why I do this”?
  • If I could shift one part of my role to feel more purposeful, what would it be?

Let your answers guide where you give your time and energy next.

🌊 Create Your Personal Purpose Statement

Try this simple structure:

"I lead to..." Follow it with the change you want to see, who it serves, and what it brings you.

Example:

"I lead to empower people to believe in their own brilliance, because when they do, teams thrive and the work becomes meaningful."

Write yours. Say it out loud. Let it anchor your next decision.

✨ Purpose-Driven Micro-Goals

You don’t need a five-year plan. You just need your next small step.

Here are a few examples:

  • Have a conversation with a team member that’s purely about their growth
  • Say no to one thing this week that doesn’t align with your values
  • Set aside 20 minutes to learn something that excites you
  • Bring creativity or play into a routine task
