🔥 The Cost of Constant Availability

Burnout doesn’t arrive all at once. It seeps in — through blurry boundaries, chronic urgency, and the slow erosion of rest.

This session isn’t about adding more self-care. It’s about reclaiming what’s already yours: time, energy, and the right to say “no.”

You don’t need permission. Just practice.

🚧 Boundary Check-In

Ask yourself:

  • Do I check emails out of guilt or choice?
  • Does my calendar reflect my priorities — or just others’ expectations?
  • When was the last time I said “no” and it felt empowering?
  • What am I tolerating that’s draining me?

Awareness is the first boundary. Clarity is the second.

🛠️ Building Boundaries That Stick

  • 📅 Block time for thinking, not just meetings
  • ✋ Practice “pause answers”: “Let me get back to you tomorrow”
  • 🙅‍♂️ Use scripts: “I’d love to, but I don’t have capacity right now”
  • 🔁 Delegate what doesn’t need you

You’re not selfish for protecting your energy. You’re strategic.
